Module 1: Scoping & Workspace Setup

Define the product you will build and set up a professional Claude Code workspace for it. Write a lean PRD as living markdown files, capture your conventions and constraints in CLAUDE.md, and structure the project directory so every later session starts with full context. Learn the scoping discipline that separates a shippable weekend build from an endless one.

Module 2: The Prototype Loop

Drive the describe-generate-run-refine loop with the instructor in real time. Learn how to give Claude Code direction that produces working software: clear acceptance criteria, small iterations, and immediate testing. Practice the recovery moves for when a build goes sideways — reverting, re-scoping, and re-prompting — so you are never stuck.

Module 3: Data & Tool Integrations

Wire your product to real data. Load and analyze CSVs, connect external services through MCP, and add the integrations that turn a demo into something genuinely useful. Learn the security questions to ask before connecting company systems, and how to test integrations without risking live data.

Module 4: Polish, Deploy & Demo

Ship it. Deploy your build to a live, shareable URL with Vercel, write the README that makes it understandable, and prepare the 5-minute demo that lands with stakeholders. Learn the difference between prototype-quality and production-quality — and how to communicate honestly about which one you are showing.

Claude Code Capstone Project

Showcase your mastery by shipping your own product with Claude Code from 0 to 1.

Project Part 1: Ideation & PRD

Choose a problem from your own job or life that a small product can solve, and write the PRD for it inside Claude Code. Run your spec through custom reviewer personas to find the holes before you build. Define what done looks like: the user, the core workflow, and the one metric that proves it works.

Project Part 2: Build the Prototype

Execute the prototype loop on your own product. Apply the iteration, review, and recovery habits from the instructor-led build, with office-hours support when you hit walls. The goal is a working build you are proud to show — generated by Claude Code, directed and quality-controlled by you.

Project Part 3: Automate One Workflow

Extend your capstone with automation: build at least one agent skill or slash command that does a recurring piece of work for your product or your PM role — a weekly report, a data refresh, a monitoring summary. This is the part of the capstone that keeps paying you back after the course ends.

Project Part 4: Ship & Present

Deploy your capstone to a live URL and present it in the final session: the problem, the build decisions, what Claude Code did well, and where you had to take over. Get instructor and peer feedback, add the project to your portfolio, and earn your Claude Code for Product Managers certificate.
